Beijing. China’s cotton imports in November almost tripled on year, to 378,124 metric tons, up 50% on month, the General Administration of Customs said Wednesday.
Imports reached 2.57 million tons in the January-November period, up 8.3% on year, customs said.
China is the world’s largest cotton producer, consumer and importer.
