NEW YORK (AP) — Cotton futures No. 2 closed $7.95 to $17.00 a bale lower Thursday.
The average price for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot cotton declined 332 points to 83.09 cents per pound Thursday for the seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
