Texas Cotton Ginners Association to host convention


LUBBOCK — The Texas Cotton Ginners’ Association will host its 105th annual convention on Thursday and Friday at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

The Texas Cotton Ginners’ Association has a long history of representing the cotton ginning industry and cooperating with other organizations throughout Texas and the United States to maintain the economic vitality and security of agriculture.

The 2012 TCGA’s 105th annual cotton trade show, which is expected to attract approximately 3,000 will be is open from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Friday.

Admission is free.

The theme for this year’s show is “High Tech in Texas” to reflect advancements in technology that are being adopted in the cotton ginning industry. The show is co-sponsored by One Grower Publishing and Cotton Farming Magazine.
