Cotton down Rs 300-500 in West India

Mumbai – Cotton traded down Rs 300-500 per candy in West India on Thursday. Cotton prices are down decreased demand from mills and lower international market. Except this, sellers are not ready to sell at lower prices. Arrivals reported around 28,000 bales in the country.

Gujarat, new A grade S-6 cotton traded at Rs 32,500- 33,000 per candy and B grade cotton at Rs 32,200-32,500 per candy. Prices of New V 797 offered at Rs 26,800-27,000 a candy.

In Maharashtra A grade cotton low micronaire quoted at Rs 32,500-32,800 per candy and A grade high micronaire cotton 29+ MM quoted at 33,000-33,500 per candy.

In Madhya Pradesh, A grade cotton low micronaire quoted at Rs 32,500-32,800 per candy and A grade high micronaire cotton 29+ MM quoted at 33,000-33,500 per candy.
