It’s nearly August, which means the September issues of glossy magazines are about to be released, which are packed with a dizzying amount of Fall 2015 campaigns. And while the clothes already had their debut moment on the runway during the February Fashion Week shows, the print ads showcasing the good are starting to roll out.
This year, every creative director and designer seems to have taken very different approaches. For example: While Céline’s focus for fall is on lesser-known models, Alexander Wang’s campaign features a girl gang of his favorite buzzy names, and not one, but three brands have tapped Kendall Jenner.
Meanwhile, Karl Lagerfeld took Chanel in a pared-back direction, and Mulberry’s new creative director stayed true to the brand’s British roots by featuring It Brit, Georgia May Jagger in the campaign.
