EDANA, the leading global association and voice of the nonwovens and related industries, has announced its programme of events scheduled for the remainder of 2015 and an overview of the activities confirmed at this stage for 2016.
Abby Bailey, marketing and communications director at EDANA said, “We recognise that the calendar of events is getting ever more crowded with more events targeting the nonwovens and related industries each year, and as a result, continue to reassess each event, and each programme to ensure that it delivers a strong business-focused event, which caters to the specific needs of the companies active in developing, testing, supplying raw materials or ingredients, manufacturing and marketing nonwoven products.”
In the three months from September to November, EDANA will deliver its 14th European edition of OUTLOOK for the nonwovens personal care and hygiene products industry, the Nonwovens Innovation Academy which brings together student researchers, universities, and business in looking at future technologies and materials, and the Turkish Nonwovens Symposium, which will focus on the key trading areas of Turkey and it’s major partners in Europe and the Middle East, according to a press release.
Additionally, EDANA and the ITMA 2015 organiser MP Expositions, will jointly organise a Nonwovens Forum on 16 November, 2015 within the exhibition in Milan, presenting ‘Nonwovens: A World of Growth and Opportunities’ to address the challenges and opportunities in the rapidly evolving world of nonwovens.
From 2 to 3 March 2016, EDANA returns to South East Asia with the 3rd edition of its popular OUTLOOK Asia conference series – a key conference for the nonwoven personal care and hygiene products industry which has grown from satellite event of the Europe-based OUTLOOK series, to become an event with a strong local following, and clear programme and value to businesses across Asia and the Indian subcontinent.
Additionally, EDANA conduct its annual general meeting together with its International Nonwovens Symposium in Warsaw, Poland on 1-2 June, 2016 featuring a mix of issues and topics on nonwovens in all type of applications, with a particular focus on the manufacturing of nonwovens, and addressing the innovative technologies, products and uses of nonwoven materials or products.
Finally, the 15th edition of the OUTLOOK conference series will take place in Madrid from 21-23 September, 2016 offering a diverse programme with multiple networking opportunities for all players in the nonwovens, personal care, and hygiene products industry supply chain. (GK)
