The Balmain show. It’s always one of Paris Fashion Week’s greatest spectacles. And today’s SS16 presentation was no exception as Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Joan Smalls, Jourdan Dunn and more supermodels took to the catwalk, while momager Kris Jenner and Gigi’s boyfriend Joe Jonas watched on from the FROW.

These are the key looks you need to see…

Kendall Jenner As Elastigirl
Brown catsuits. Surely the peak of all sartorial challenges, a look so tricky for even the lithe supermodel types among us to pull off? But alas, Kendall Jenner rose to the challenge, spraying on designer Olivier Rousteing’s panelled, form fitting design and teaming it with a stunning poker straight ponytail. You should have seen the gradients of clip on hair extensions backstage.

Jourdan Dunn In Couture Suede
Holy power shoulders. It’s the crafted suede minidress to end all others. A hero trend for summer 2015 was undeniably suede textures, and it looks like everyone’s favourite 70s-tinged textile is set to do the rounds again for SS16. Best hang on to that suede skirt we bought, then.

Gigi Hadid As The Kick-Ass Khaki Chick
Now this is what the #BalmainArmy is all about. An actual armour for the fierce modern woman, designer Olivier’s giving us hyper-womanly cinched waists with polished choker neckplates and SnM worthy lace up sandals. Pretty tough, right?

Doutzen Kroes As The Bejeweled Mermaid
Look a little closer at those Balmain net skirts and you’ll notice that each one is constructed with lashings of rich embellishments. In a rainbow of hot hues, these will be the most covetable trophy clothes of the new season.

Doutzen Kroes (Again) Modelling Mega-Ruffles
If we didn’t know better, we’d think that creative director Olivier had 1970s Abba flares on his mood board. But re-vamped in cool tiers and teamed with a wrap tuxedo top, the look is sharp, polished and totally ready for red carpet glory.

Stella Maxwell In, Well, Kim Kardashian’s Next Look…
The billowing trench, the sheer lattice elements, the palette of warm neutrals? We all know that Olivier Rousteing loves to design looks especially for his muse Kim, but this ensemble has got to be more than a little bit up her street? Go straight to the top of Ms Kardashian-West’s SS16 shopping list…
