Bangladeshi denim fabrics maker M&J Group in partnership with Garmon Chemicals, a marketer of chemicals solutions for garment finishing will showcase its range at the upcoming Kingpins in Amsterdam.
“Once more, the companies will show, how their partnership can gave birth to interesting results in terms of innovation, ethics and financial feasibility,” an M&J press release stated.
M&J’s interpretation of today’s trends in aesthetic outputs of finishing and washes made with GreenScreen-certified Garmon’s chemicals will be displayed.
“The collaboration between M&J Group and Garmon represents a huge step forward for the industry through a practical example of cross-industry collaboration on the premise that a true change is possible,” it added.
“We cannot keep on ignoring the importance of sustainability and in the name of sustainability, M&J will accomplish its mission of change” Fabio Adami Dalla Val, trade marketing manager at M&J said.
GreenScreen for Safer Chemical certification is a worldwide publicly available and transparent chemical hazard screening method developed by the NGO ‘Clean Production Action’.
It has been recommended by Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Joint Map 2014 as the best tool to assess the safety of chemicals. (AR)
